Description

The Dahua P5BP-PV is part of Dahua’s Picoo Series intelligent Wi-Fi PT cameras, built for flexible and easy-to-install surveillance without requiring complex wiring.

It uses a 5MP CMOS sensor (1/3″) capable of recording at a maximum resolution of 2880 × 1620 (5 megapixels), providing clear and detailed footage suitable for home and small business security.

One of its key strengths is its motorized pan and tilt (PT) mechanism, offering up to 355° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical tilt, allowing the camera to cover a wide area with minimal blind spots.

For night surveillance, the P5BP-PV uses Smart Dual Light technology, combining:

• Infrared (IR) LEDs for low-light black-and-white viewing
• Warm white LEDs for full-color night vision when motion is detected
  Both systems support illumination up to 30 meters, improving visibility and evidence capture at night.

The camera supports Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax) for stronger connectivity, faster pairing, and improved signal stability. It also supports Bluetooth pairing for easier initial setup.

It includes AI-based human and vehicle detection, helping reduce false alarms caused by animals, trees, or environmental movement. When detection occurs, the camera can trigger sound and light alarms to actively deter intruders.

For communication, it features built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way audio through the mobile app for real-time interaction.

It supports microSD card storage up to 256 GB and uses H.265 video compression, which reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining high image quality.

The device is powered via 12V DC, has a plastic weather-resistant housing, and operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C, making it suitable for outdoor use in most environments.
