This is a distance of about 5,000 feet.
  In short the Video Balun is a device that is commonly used to adapt the type of connection to allow the use of UTP – Unshielded Twisted Pair cable to transmit the signals from an analog camera.
  By using this device it is possible to replace the traditional coaxial cable RG59 or RG11 and use Cat5 Cables to achieve long distances in transmition.
