Description

The Dahua C3AP (commonly DH-IPC-C3AP-0280B) is part of Dahua’s Cube Wireless Series, a compact line of indoor smart cameras built for easy installation and mobile monitoring.

It features a 3MP CMOS sensor (1/3.2″) capable of recording video at a resolution of 2304 × 1296, delivering clear and detailed indoor surveillance footage. The camera uses H.265 video compression, which helps reduce bandwidth and storage usage while maintaining good image quality.

For connectivity, the C3AP supports Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax), allowing wireless installation without Ethernet cabling. It is designed for plug-and-play setup through the Dahua mobile app, enabling remote live viewing and alerts directly on a smartphone.

A key feature of this model is its two-way audio system, which includes both a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing users to listen and speak through the camera—useful for home monitoring, baby monitoring, or small shop communication.

For night surveillance, the camera includes infrared night vision up to approximately 10 meters, automatically switching between day and night modes using an IR-cut filter.

It also supports AI-based motion and human detection, helping reduce false alerts from pets or environmental movement. Recorded footage can be stored locally via a microSD card (up to 256 GB) or accessed through supported mobile and PC clients.

The camera operates on 5V DC power, consumes very low energy (around 1.5–2.5W), and is designed for indoor use, making it suitable for:
