DHI-C5A Cube A1 5MP

Description

The Dahua C5AP (also known as DH-IPC-C5AP-0280B) is part of Dahua’s Cube Series Wireless IP cameras, designed for easy installation, remote monitoring, and compact indoor surveillance applications.

It is equipped with a 5MP CMOS sensor (1/2.7″), delivering high-resolution video at 2880 × 1620 (5 megapixels). The camera supports H.265 video compression, which reduces bandwidth usage while maintaining clear and detailed image quality.

For connectivity, the C5AP uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax), allowing wireless setup without the need for Ethernet cabling. It integrates easily with the DMSS mobile app, enabling real-time viewing, alerts, and remote control from smartphones.

A key feature is its two-way audio system, which includes a built-in microphone and speaker. This allows users to listen and communicate directly through the camera, making it useful for home monitoring, office communication, or checking in remotely.

For night surveillance, it provides infrared night vision up to approximately 10 meters, automatically switching between day and night modes using an IR-cut filter for better low-light performance.

The camera also supports AI-based human detection and motion detection, helping reduce false alarms caused by pets or non-human movement. Users can store recordings locally using a microSD card (up to 256 GB) or access them remotely via mobile or PC platforms.

It operates on 5V DC power with very low power consumption (around 1.6–2.7W), making it suitable for continuous indoor operation.
