Description

DHI-HY-1310 Addressable Heat Detector is a mated product of the
Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel. Integrated with non-polarity
two wire and temperature sensor, this detector analyzes ambient
temperature by intelligent algorithm to trigger alarms. When the
temperature has reached the alarm threshold, the Addressable Fire
Alarm Control Panel will confirm a fire alarm according to the received
message sent from the detector, and the detector indicator will light
simultaneously to indicate alarm.

Functions:

  3. Alerting Security System: Upon detecting the open circuit, the sensor sends a signal to the security system or alarm panel. The control panel interprets this signal as a breach or unauthorized entry, triggering an alarm, such as a siren, notifying authorities, or initiating other programmed security responses.
  4. Tamper Detection: Some magnetic contacts are designed with tamper detection features. They can trigger an alarm if someone tries to tamper with or manipulate the sensor, ensuring that attempts to disable the security system are also detected.
  5. Low-Battery Alerts: Many modern magnetic contacts are battery-powered. They may include low-battery monitoring and send alerts to the control panel when the battery needs replacement, ensuring the sensor remains operational.
