Description
Green razor wire (also called concertina wire) is a type of sharp-edged metal barrier used to reinforce security around walls, fences, or perimeters. It consists of galvanized steel or similar core wires with sharp razor‑blades or barbs, often arranged in coiled loops. What makes the “green” version special is a coatings (usually PVC or similar polymer) which is colored green and/or double galvanized for extra corrosion resistance. The green coating helps it blend in with vegetation or surroundings (aesthetic camouflage), while the galvanization + coating gives durability against rust, weather and wear. It’s used in places needing high security: residential compounds, industrial sites, prisons, military installations, etc.

| Blade / barb type |
Sharp blades, often “CBT 65” type (i.e. blade length ~65mm) in some products |
| Galvanisation / coating |
Hot‑dip galvanized (or double galvanized) steel, often with green PVC coating / polymer finish for additional protection and rust resistance. |
| Number of loops / clips per turn |
e.g. ~ 55 loops/turns in some coils; often with 3 mounting clips per turn. |
